When You Need Urgent Dental Care

Dental emergencies can happen at any time—a sudden toothache, a chipped tooth, or an accident that damages your smile. At Santo Dental Group, we understand that dental pain and trauma can't wait. That's why we make every effort to see emergency patients the same day you call.

Whether you're experiencing severe tooth pain, have a broken restoration, or suffered an injury to your mouth, our team is ready to provide prompt, compassionate care to relieve your discomfort and protect your oral health.

Common Dental Emergencies We Treat

Severe Toothaches
Persistent or intense tooth pain often signals infection, decay, or an abscess. We'll diagnose the cause and provide immediate relief.

Broken or Chipped Teeth
Accidents happen. We can repair fractured teeth and restore both function and appearance.

Knocked-Out Teeth
Time is critical. If you act quickly and get to our office, we may be able to save the tooth.

Lost Fillings or Crowns
A missing restoration leaves your tooth vulnerable. We'll replace it promptly to prevent further damage.

Soft Tissue Injuries
Cuts to the lips, gums, or tongue may require professional care to stop bleeding and promote healing.

Abscesses and Infections
Dental infections can spread and become serious. We provide immediate treatment to eliminate infection and preserve your tooth.

What to Do in a Dental Emergency

For a knocked-out tooth: Handle it by the crown (not the root), rinse gently with water, and try to place it back in the socket. If that's not possible, keep it moist in milk or saliva and call us immediately.

For a severe toothache: Rinse your mouth with warm water and gently floss to remove any trapped food. Avoid placing aspirin directly on the gum. Call us right away.

For a broken tooth: Rinse your mouth and save any pieces. Apply a cold compress to reduce swelling and contact our office.

For a lost filling or crown: Keep the crown if possible and call us. Avoid chewing on that side of your mouth.

The most important step is to call us as soon as possible. The sooner we can see you, the better the outcome.
